Ingredients
  

  • 9 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1 cup melted white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Valentine's Day sprinkles
  • 1/4 cup crushed freeze dried Strawberries optional

  • Large Zip-top Bag
  • Parchment-lined baking sheet

Method
 

  1. Pour the Rice Chex cereal into a large bowl.

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate, peanut butter (or almond butter), and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.

  3. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently toss until the cereal is evenly coated.

  4. In a large zip-top bag, add the powdered sugar. Then, add the coated cereal to the bag.

  5. Seal the bag tightly and shake vigorously until the cereal is completely coated in powdered sugar.

  6. Spread the Cupid Chow onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. While the chocolate’s still slightly sticky, sprinkle with Valentine's Day sprinkles and crushed freeze dried strawberries (if using).

  7. Allow the Cupid Chow to set for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.
  8. Break apart the Cupid Chow and store in an airtight container. Enjoy this sweet treat with friends and family!
