For the Cream Cheese Glaze (Optional): In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until combined. Add the milk and vanilla extract, and beat until smooth and creamy.

Drizzle the cream cheese glaze over the cooled loaf.
