Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a medium saucepan.
2 cups granulated sugar, ¾ cup light corn syrup, ½ cup water
Cook over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Continue to boil without stirring until a candy thermometer registers 300°F (149°C). This is the "hard crack" stage.
Take the saucepan off the heat immediately.
Quickly stir in the red food coloring and cinnamon flavoring oil. Mix well.
1 teaspoon red food coloring gel, 1-2 teaspoons cinnamon flavor oil
Pour the mixture onto a silicone baking mat.
Let the candy cool completely. Then, break it into pieces.
Dust in powdered sugar and serve!
