- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine the squeezed spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, mayonnaise, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe baking dish or skillet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Use full-fat mayonnaise and sour cream for an extra creamy dip. Be sure to squeeze the spinach thoroughly to remove excess moisture and prevent a watery dip. For a different flavor, experiment with cheeses like Gruyere or Asiago. To prevent over-browning, cover the dish with foil for the first 15 minutes of baking, then remove for the last 5-10 minutes. For a quicker option, microwave on high for 5-7 minutes, stirring halfway through. This dip can also be served cold after chilling for an hour.
