Ingredients

Sliders
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 ounces ham thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces provolone cheese sliced
  • 3 ounces pepperoni thinly sliced
  • 3 ounces salami thinly sliced
Glaze
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Grinder Salad
  • 8 ounces iceberg lettuce shredded
  • 1/2 cup tomato diced
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini peppers sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cut the Hawaiian rolls horizontally to separate the tops from the bottoms. Place the bottom half of the rolls into a baking dish.

  3. Layer the provolone cheese evenly across the bread. Follow this by adding layers of the ham, pepperoni, and salami on top of the cheese.
8 ounces ham, 4 ounces provolone cheese, 3 ounces pepperoni, 3 ounces salami
  4. Place the top half of the rolls back onto the sandwiches. Use a knife to cut through the rolls to create individual sliders.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, grated parmesan, garlic powder, and salt. Brush or spread this glaze evenly over the tops of the rolls.
2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons parmesan, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
  7. While the sliders are baking, prepare the grinder salad dressing by whisking together the mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  8. In a medium bowl, toss the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sliced pepperoncini peppers with the prepared dressing.
8 ounces iceberg lettuce, 1/2 cup tomato, 1/2 cup pepperoncini peppers
  9. Once the sliders are out of the oven, remove the top bun layer, spread the grinder salad over the meat and cheese, and replace the tops. Serve immediately.

Notes

Place the cheese at the bottom of the sliders under the meat to prevent the rolls from becoming soggy. Add the grinder salad just before serving to ensure the lettuce stays crisp.
