- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread cranberry sauce evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
- Roll up the dough tightly into a log.
- Slice the log into 1-inch thick rounds.
- Place the roll-ups in a greased baking dish.
- Brush with melted butter.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While baking, prepare the glaze.
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk or cream, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add more liquid to reach desired consistency.
- Let the roll-ups cool slightly before drizzling with glaze.

For smoother spreading, pulse chunky cranberry sauce in a food processor. Experiment with pistachios or macadamia nuts. Add orange zest for a tangier kick. Ensure roll-ups are slightly warm before glazing. Allow the roll-ups to cool down slightly before serving.
