  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a doughnut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

  5. Spoon or pipe the batter into the prepared doughnut pan, filling each cavity about two-thirds full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the doughnuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. While the doughnuts are still slightly warm, dip them in your favorite toppings like powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, or chocolate glaze.

  9. Add sprinkles if desired.
