- Combine Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, ginger, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using).¾ cup soy sauce, ½ cup brown sugar, ¼ cup honey, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons sesame oil, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 1 teaspoon ground ginger, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Dump and Go: Place the chicken pieces into the crockpot. Pour the teriyaki sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated.2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and easily shreds with a fork.
- Shred (Optional): If desired, shred the chicken with two forks directly in the crockpot. This will allow the chicken to absorb more of the sauce.
