  • 4 ounces prosciutto thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce homemade or store-bought
  • 1/4 cup fresh rosemary chopped (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush each baguette slice with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  2. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and lightly toasted.
  3. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and top each crostini with a slice of brie.
  4. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 2-3 minutes, or until the brie is softened and slightly melted.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it slightly cool, top each crostini with a small piece of prosciutto and a spoonful of cranberry sauce. Sprinkle with fresh rosemary if desired.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the irresistible combination of flavors!

Notes

Consider using a high-quality baguette for a superior base. Make sure your baguette slices are evenly thick so that they toast uniformly in the oven. Chilling the brie slightly beforehand can make it easier to work with. Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet while toasting the crostini. Experiment with different types of cranberry sauce, such as cranberry-orange or cranberry-ginger. Fresh herbs like thyme or sage can also add a unique aromatic touch.
