Ingredients
  

Cowboy Butter
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives chopped
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Steak Sliders
  • 1 pound sirloin steak thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 slider buns
  • lettuce Optional Topping

  • caramelized onions Optional Topping

Method
 

  1. Make the Cowboy Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. Add Flavor: Stir in the minced garlic, parsley, chives, thyme, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.

  3. Simmer: Cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  4. Finish the Butter: Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Prepare the Steak: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  6. Sear the Steak: Add the thinly sliced steak to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.

  7. Butter Bath: While the steak is still in the skillet, pour half of the cowboy butter over the steak, making sure to coat it evenly.

  8. Assemble the Sliders: Cut the slider buns in half.

  9. Layer Steak: Place a generous portion of the cowboy butter steak on the bottom half of each slider bun.

  10. Add Toppings: Add your favorite toppings, such as lettuce, tomato slices, or caramelized onions (optional).
