Method
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions. Form each portion into a small, thin patty, slightly larger than the diameter of the Hawaiian rolls (they'll shrink as they cook).
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties to your desired level of doneness, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- While the patties are still hot, place a quarter of a cheese slice on top of each patty. Let it melt slightly.
- Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the cheesy patties on the bottom half of the rolls. Add your favorite toppings (ketchup, mustard, pickles, lettuce, etc.).
- Top with the other half of the rolls and serve immediately. Enjoy your Cheeseburger Sliders Hawaiian Rolls!
Notes
Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking the patties. For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the meat mixture, or a dash of hot sauce. Consider using a blend of ground beef and ground turkey/chicken for a healthier alternative. Adding a quick brush of melted butter on the rolls before assembling the sliders adds richness. Remember to use high quality lean ground beef!
