Method
- Start with a round platter or board. Trace a bowl in the center to show you where not to add items, that will create the charcuterie aspect of a wreath!
- Place the Brie wedges evenly around the circle.
- Add piles of Cheddar cubes and crumbled goat cheese, alternating with the Brie.
- Arrange the Prosciutto, Salami, and Pepperoni in visually appealing patterns. This can be arranged to be like a flower with various folded versions.
- Fill gaps with the grapes, cherry tomatoes, and olives.
- Tuck in rosemary sprigs for garnish and a festive touch.
- Place crackers and baguette slices near the wreath, or in a separate bowl.
- Drizzle honey over the Brie and add fig jam near the cheese.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
The key to a stunning CHARCUTERIE WREATH is variety and presentation. Don’t be afraid to mix textures and colors to create a visually appealing display. Quality ingredients make a difference, so choose cheeses and meats you love. When arranging, start with the larger items (cheese wedges, meat folds) and then fill in the gaps with smaller items like grapes and olives. For a professional touch, fold or roll the meats instead of just laying them flat which will create a flowery design and texture. Keep the board refrigerated until just before serving to keep everything fresh. Taste test everything to make sure the ingredients work well and aren't too similar in flavor to highlight the differences. And most importantly, don’t stress the perfection – it’s about the enjoyment of creating something beautiful and delicious! Serve with a selection of wines that complement the flavors – a crisp Sauvignon Blanc for the goat cheese, a light-bodied Pinot Noir for the prosciutto, and a bolder Cabernet Sauvignon for the cheddar. For a non-alcoholic pairing, consider sparkling cider or flavored sparkling water. Provide small plates and serving utensils for guests to easily create their own perfect bite. A little bowl of olive oil with balsamic vinegar for dipping the baguette is always a welcome addition. Finally, ensure you have extra crackers and baguette on hand.
