  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a separate small bowl, combine the minced garlic, melted butter, and olive oil.
  4. Pour the garlic butter mixture into the cream cheese mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Add the Parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) and mix well.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a small oven-safe baking dish.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Fresh garlic is key to that authentic garlic bread flavor. For a richer taste, consider using roasted garlic. Adjust the baking time according to your oven; look for a golden, bubbly top. If it starts to brown too quickly, tent it loosely with foil. Experiment with different cheeses; a blend of Parmesan and mozzarella can add a gooey, cheesy texture.
