  • 0.25 cup chopped cilantro

Equipment

Method

  1. Prepare the Shrimp: In a bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Make sure shrimp are evenly coated.
  2. Air Fry the Shrimp: Place the seasoned shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until pink and cooked through.
  3. Make the Bang Bang Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and garlic powder until smooth. Adjust the sriracha to your desired level of spiciness.
  4. Combine Shrimp and Sauce: Once the shrimp are cooked, transfer them to a bowl and pour the bang bang sauce over them. Gently toss to coat evenly.
  5. Warm the Tortillas: Warm the tortillas in a microwave, dry skillet, or oven according to package directions.
  6. Assemble the Tacos: Fill each warm tortilla with a layer of shredded cabbage or slaw mix, followed by the saucy bang bang shrimp.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle chopped cilantro over the tacos and serve immediately with lime wedges.

Notes

Arrange shrimp in single layer in air fryer for even cooking. Flip shrimp halfway through cooking time. Adjust sriracha in sauce to control spice level. Shrimp should be pink and cooked through when done. Warm tortillas before assembling for better texture. Serve immediately for best results.
